Excursion sign-up due upon registration: deadline August 26, 2024.
Strider offers guests the chance to explore Scotland during our excursion slot on Thursday, October 3rd, from 14:00-18:00. Choose from five different excursions available; Golf 'The Perfect 10', Spa, Axe Throwing, Off Roading, or Gundogs and Falconry. Upon registration, guests will select their preferred excursion. Details for each option are provided below. All excursion expenses will be covered by Strider.
Golf ‘The Perfect 10’
Excursion Details
Activity: Play golf where the pros play. The recent hosts of The Ryder and Solheim Cups are excited to welcome you to their spectacular 10 hole golf course.
Location: Gleneagles in Perthshire, Scotland
Duration: 2.5 hours, tee times starting at 14:30
Information:- Golf club rentals are available
- Push cart/trolly or golf cart available
- Caddie per 4-some to be provided

GLENEAGLES SPA
Excursion Details
Activity: Enjoy a calming escape with an option between a 50 min. Be in the Moment Massage or a 50 min. Illuminate and Energize Facial
Location: Gleneagles
Timing: Appointments between 2-5:30pm
Amenities Available: (9am-7pm)

AXE THROWING

Activity: Feel the thrill as you hurl axes under expert guidance, creating unforgettable memories in the heart of Scotland.
Location: Gleneagles
Duration: 1.5 hours

OFF ROADING
Excursion Details
Activity: Enjoy the most exciting off road driving experience Scotland has to offer, set amongst the stunning backdrop of the Perthshire countryside.
Location: Gleneagles
Duration: 2.5 hours
Attire:- Comfortable Clothing

Information:
- Each car will include one instructor and three other participants. Each participant is able to drive if desired.
- Valid driver’s license required
- Not advised if pregnant or if you have back problems
Gundogs & Falconry
Excursion Details
Activity: The Gleneagles Falconry School is the place to learn all about falconry in Scotland. Their bird of prey experiences in Scotland have been created to suit novices and experienced handlers alike.
Location: Gleneagles
Duration: 2 hours (1 hour of Gundogs and 1 hour of Falconry)
Attire:- Long sleeved tops recommended
- Noting - all weather activity however may be canceled in high winds (very rare)
